Prepare to make a three year long jump into the future since the events in the previous season! It’s year 2017 and Leslie continues her fights for the improvement of the public territories in Pawnee. She is in the National Parks Service, at the head of it, and looks rather happy doing her job with even growing enthusiasm. Ben continues his job as a government official. Andy is now the star in his own karate-show, while both he and April continue their work with Leslie as the Midwest Regional Parks Director. The seventh season story begins when one rich and influential family from Newport decides to sell a huge part of it’s land. Of course, Leslie is resolute to get this land and turn it into the National Park.
