It’s been a tough year for Dean - he spent it in a purgatory together with angel Castiel. But due to unknown circumstances he returns back on Earth and brings new vampire-friend Benny together with him instead of the angel. Something strange and mysterious had happened in the monsters’ hell, something that made Dean leave Cas there and take a vampire monster with him. When elder Winchester reunites with his smaller brother he tells him nothing about that vampire, but how long will he be able to hide such a secret? Other news brothers receive from Kevin, a teenager and a prophet with very restless mother. Kevin knows for sure that there is a God’s tablet with special spell on it which can do two very different things - shut the hell with all the demons inside or on the contrary kick the demons out from the hell to the earth which literally means to organize hell among the living people. Winchesters dream about the first scheme and Crowley wants to implement the second variant.
