Liu Kang gets involved in a fight with some gangsters while spending time in one of the disreputable bars in Macau. A sudden and unexpected help comes to him when Kung Lao appears and provokes a rather noisy reunion. Later in the series you’ll get a chance to see and understand the reasons why Liu Kang has found himself in such situation. His girlfriend who was also his fiancee was killed and had seen everything with his eyes. It is also understood that Kung Lao will leave Macau to participate in the MK tournament. The Earthrealm warriors will show up on the tournament island as well as the Outworld warriors. Kenshi’s origin story will be revealed in the flashbacks from the old times Japan.
