The events which have occured in the end of the Warehouse 13 first season have left few serious questions. Season two reveals that the explosion didn't kill Arthur because the Phoenix artifact was in his pocket. It actually slipped there thanks to MacPherson in one of the moments when he and Artie were fighting. Meanwhile MacPherson still has the full control over Leena’s mind. Thanks to this control MacPherson finds out the location of H.G. Wells, who is the former Warehouse agent. Leena still being controlled also assists MacPherson in escaping the Warehouse. Agents Lattimer and Bering have to track down the runaways and bring them back to the warehouse where they belong.
