Will we get a real new couple of Robin and Barney? Their feelings are finally revealed and looks like they are together! But their relationships are more about sex than romantics. After a very short period of summer time it becomes obvious - they don’t fit. Romantic ends amd they keep their friendship although during the whole season will often demonstrate certain regrets about that decision. Robin won’t stay alone for long - she'll find a new interest in a co-worker, because of whom she even will sacrifice a very perspective job in Chicago. Ted’s mother announce that she’s getting married and those news are really stun him a lot, he hadn’t been married even once and she's doing it for the second time! This pushes him to make an outstanding step - he buys a half-destroyed house. It is not suitable for living and a total repair and renewal needs to be done. Ted insists this will become a house for his future wife and children.
