Gus gets into the situation when he has to make a choice between his two jobs because his boss insists on it. To help his closest friend to keep both jobs Shawn agrees to investigate and spend some time inside the home of the company’s Vice President who is sure there is a mystic threat in his house and it's of supernatural origin. Another bother for Spencer is the sudden visit of his mother - Madeleine - who has made certain plans about her time in the town. Later, in another episode Shawn is the only person first who believes that a real murder took place during the meeting of the old high school friends. The main reason people have no trust to Shawn’s words - there was no human body found.
