Henry Spencer have spent a lot of time teaching his son Shawn with the help of different games and exercises. He trained Shawn’s memory, attention and logic so that when years past his son’s skills and abilities became incredible and unbelievable. Old Spencer have been preparing his son for a special work in police, but Shawn received not exactly that kind of job his father was thinking of. He became a young consultant in Santa Barbara Police Department, but managed to convince people that his abilities in finding out the truth are of supernatural origin - many people believe he is a real psychic. Still there are those who don’t believe and Carlton Lassiter, who is a head detective, is among them.
