The epic finale of the season two has left us with the totally destroyed New York and the clear perspective for the Defiance to be destroyed in the nearest future too. Following the events of the previous season finale with an intriguing cliffhanger, season three will begin with the forthcoming military siege, on the very eve of it. These are the hard times for the town in many aspects. The future fate of all the inhabitants is uncertain and everything gets even more complicated when suddenly the new mysterious alien race arrives. They are called Omec and represent the race of ancient warriors who are almost extinct now.
