Meredith Grey is a daughter of famous mother - world known surgeon Ellis Grey. She comes as an surgery intern to the hospital and suddenly realizes that a guy she spent last night with is her boss - surgeon Derek Shepherd. All the drama happens around Seattle Grace Hospital, it’s interns, residents, Meredith’s friends and colleagues. Cristina Yang is ambitious and active but lacks tact when dealing with patients. Izzie Stevens arrived from a small town and pays for education with the money got from model business. George O'Malley is an open minded but diffident person who often says wrong things in a wrong moments. Alex Karev is self-confident and really ambitious. They all are working under control of Miranda Bailey, a doctor with a rather tough personality.
