No matter how sad it is but some old friends will leave the show this season, providing more space for the new friends to arrive. On of the most unfortunate characters among the former interns will die in the very beginning of the season: George O'Malley will get into the fatal accident and die soon because of the injuries not compatible with life. This will influence not just the feelings and the moods but also lives of many characters.
Another sad farewell is waiting for Izzie. She’s done with cancer drama but soon after it becomes obvious that nothing threatens her health anymore she gives her husband (who is just tired of this marriage) the freedom to leave. After that she’ll leave the scene as well.
