A sudden attack is held by the Ku Klux Klan towards one of the backstreets alcohol stores in January of 1921. During this attack a few from the “coloured” gang controlled by Chalky die. This attack turns to be a part of a crafty plan schemed by the upcoming opponents with Jimmy involved. They wish to change the balance of the power in the underground business and remove Nucky. This attack together with some other obvious moments in Jimmy’s behavior very soon make Nucky suspicious. Still it doesn't safe him from being arrested for the fraud during the elections. Meanwhile Van Alden’s wife arrives to the Atlantic city, husband meets her but covers the fact that there is a pregnant woman he has to take care and support now.
