The life full of worries and stress continues for the characters. The managing editor has to tell the stories from the past when he is in a deposition. The President of the AWM is not allowed to enter the hearing which is connected with the copyright protection. The strong feelings Harper has for Maggie push him to make an unexpected decision - he wants to avoid casual meetings with her so he chooses the presidential campaign of one candidate and assigns there as ACN's correspondent. Mac then has to look for a person who can do Harper’s job. Meanwhile Maggie’s personal life turns around Don with whom she started to live together.
