When Jack had just decided to retire experiencing the aftermath of his pregnant wife’s death he is forced to come back to his stressed job. 18 months past and the new thrilling adventures of Jack Bauer this time begin in South Korea when it’s midnight, but another Bauer’s tensed day will continue from 8 am till 8 am. A nuclear bomb is prepared to blow in LA, so the priority task for Jack is to identify the location of a terrorist who controls it. This task takes the first part of his crazy day after which he has to proceed the second part - finding the bomb itself. But there will be the third part of the day as well and an international military conflict should be prevented. The complexity of this awful day is enhanced by Jack's attempts to maintain the bond with his daughter and worries about her.
