Ryan is a young man, but he already has serious psychological problems. He avoids people. After the failed suicide attempt he starts to see the dog of his neighbors as real man, dressed in a dog costume. Dog’s name is Wilfred, he talks to Ryan and provides him with advice concerning almost everything. Thanks to Wilfred Ryan steps on a road of changes - he becomes motivated to act differently bringing the changes into his life. When Ryan refuses to listen to Wilfred’s advice “the dog” turns his life in a total hell. But the main aim of all dog’s action is always making goog to Ryan. During the series Ryan and Wilfred often disagree and quarrel, but always reunite and stay best friends.
