Instead of finally meeting those who as Michael thinks have “burned” him, he only receives a secret call from a woman. She says her name is Carla. This call comes at the moment when Michael suddenly discovers a tied man and two dead bodies near him. Carla insists that Michael must help the tied man (who’s name is Jimmy) and they have to steal some important data from the military company. To guarantee their cooperation and Michael’s assistance in this case Carla reveals she has taken Jimmy’s family as a hostages. Later, when this case is done Carla and Westen finally meet and it becomes obvious now Michael will have to work on the cases she gives him.
