One of the main focuses of this season is Jim’s attempts to leave his job in order to start the new one together with his college friend. To implement his plans the change of the place of living is inevitable - he has to move to Philadelphia. But Pam doesn’t share his enthusiasm about this. Eventually this misunderstanding influences their relationships a lot. Some events in Andy’s family change his lifestyle - he leaves the office job to travel on the family boat around the world together with his brother. Erin stays alone for these months, and soon develops a new romance with the new co-worker. Dwight meanwhile fights for Angela’s attention again.
