It’s the 1980s and the Cold War is in it’s growing tension between the Eastern and Western worlds. Elizabeth and Philip Jennings arrive to settle down in the Washington suburbs. They have two children, their family looks like a typical American family to everybody they meet. But both Philip and Elizabeth are Soviet intelligence agents, KGB officers. The main mission of their arrival is to spy on the American government. Their marriage is not that easy even considering the fact that it’s a fake. With every new day spent in northern Virginia their relationships become more tensed and full of true emotions. It all gets even more complicated when they meet their new neighbor from the FBI.
