Dee is suddenly and almost suicidally depressed because of the self-loathing. She hates the way she’s looking and realizes the guys were right all this time about her lack of talent. Charlie, Dennis, Mac and Frank decide to help Dee and cheer her up. They insist she has to give herself another chance with a stand-up comedy career. Later in the series Frank talks on a TV about the gun ownership. This becomes a reason for the gang to tangle with gun control issues. Another great confrontation begins when an award for the best Bar in Philadelphia is announced and the gang of course decides they have to win it.
