The main focus of the series is a life, ambitions and dreams of the four close-knit Latina maids who work at the houses of rich and powerful people in Beverly Hills. Rosie has arrived from Mexico, she works as a housemaid and nanny, her employers are husband and wife who are both successful actors. Carmen from Puerto Rico dreams about successful career as a singer, but for now she is just a maid in the house of a pop star and also has to follow the orders of a housekeeper from Russia. Zoila works together with her daughter Valentina for a wealthy, but emotionally rather unstable woman Genevieve. Their fellow-maid is suddenly killed right at the home of her employers and the women turn to each other searching for support.
