In the last moment of the season finale it is not actually clear whether Westen is ok. The very first minutes reveal him safe, but still rather exhausted after the long swimming he had to do after the jump from the helicopter. The bad news for Michael is that now instead of being under the Organization’s control he is hunted down by the police. The very shot chase eventually bring police straight to him and Westen becomes imprisoned. More bad news arrive very soon - the investigation on Michael’s case is held not only by the police but by the foreign intelligence agencies as well. Nonetheless Michael gets over all this rather soon with the help of an old friend who then offers him a new job.
