Meet modern city - Portland, but full of magic and fairy-tales monsters. Detective Nick Burkhardt doesn’t know about them yet, but very soon he will. A terrible murder of a college girl happened in Portland and because of this murder detective Burkhard will find out that he is a descendant of powerful hunters. Those hunters have been killing evil creatures who invade this world from fairy-tales. It’s time for Nick to become hunter as well, because his main task is to keep balance between human race and mythological creatures. He had seen many terrible crimes during his job, but that doesn’t help him when he starts to see normal people changing into disgusting monsters. All like from Grimm fairy-tales.. No surprise, that hunters he is descendant of, used to call themselves “Grimm”.
